In my last blog post I mentioned that I was off to Glencoe to get some photos and drone footage of the snow. You may have seen my video on Twitter and Facebook by now, but if not, I've attached it below. I stayed at the lovely Bridge of Orchy Hotel because it was dog friendly and it meant I could take Harris along with me! I highly recommend it, especially if you can get one of the rooms in the new part by the river. The room was bright and airy, and had patio doors leading out to a decking area, which I expect would be beautiful in the summer! Here's a few photos from the hotel - Glencoe looked absolutely stunning in the snow, but before we did any drone flying we stopped off for a warming cuppa and to see the deer at the old Kings House Hotel, which is now being renovated. It's going to look great when it's finished in a few years. Harris had a great time playing in the snow, and was grateful that we found a fantastic place for lunch near the Three Sister for warming up! We went to the doggy friendly Clachaig Inn, which I just discovered when looking for nearby places to eat on my phone. This is a lovely cosy place with great food and hearty portions. I will definitely be back the next time I'm up that way! And finally, the drone footage. You'll see this is from various places between Bridge of Orchy and Loch Leven. Thanks to Gary Innes for allowing me to use some of his music for the video, which has just been released. His new album can be downloaded on iTunes.
